The museum will take you through the history of hunting and fishing in Liptov from the Middle Ages until today through knowledge and exhibits of game, various hunting gears,as well as a hunting salon furnished with period furniture. It will introduce you to the development of organizational forms of hunting and fishing, as well as important personalities from this area, and the depiction of hunting and fishing by Liptov artists. An exhibition of the herbal healer Elena Badová, who with her knowledge of medicinal herbs helped people not only from Slovakia, is also part of the museum.
The museum is housed in the historical premises of the Čierny Orol (eng. Black Eagle) building, where Gašpar Fejérpataky-Belopotocký began writing the history of Slovak amateur theatrein August 1830, by introducing the comedy Kocúrkovo.
