Town beach near the Liptovská Mara dam

The 700-meter-long shore of Liptovská Mara offers relax by the water, beach volleyball, mobile buffet and an incredible view of the mountains. It is accessible directly from Liptovský Mikuláš – from Palúdzka district.

Come cool off, sunbathe and breathe in the fresh mountain air. Play beach volleyball, grab a bite to eat from the buffet or just lounge by the water with a view of the mountains. On site you will find a beach volleyball court, beach gastro, paddleboard rental, changing rooms, dry toilets and free parking. Soon, you will be able to enjoy the following new services at the town beach: a workout zone for teenagers and adults, additional beach furniture including benches and bike racks, pedal boat rentals, and an expanded food and beverage area.

During the summer (July – August), the seasonal Mara Bus will take you comfortably to the beach.

Bike trail

In a beautiful clean environment on the bank of the longest Slovak river Váh, you can go cycling, inline skating or riding scooters undisturbed. Along the route, there are 3 bike shelters, pump track, children and workout playgrounds, as well as benches for resting. More info

Town bike trail

Although the historic centre of Liptovsky Mikulas is a pedestrian zone, cyclists are allowed to enter it. They can move safely along the marked bike trail – an asphalt belt, which leads through the entire historic centre. More info

Athletic stadium

Available not only for athletes who grow up in Liptovský Mikuláš, but also for a wide range of athletes and the public. More info

Pump track

Try riding a bicycle only by shifting your weight and without pedaling. The track is also suitable for riding a scooter, skateboard or inline skates. More info

The bouldering climbing wall is suitable for everyone - children, climbers and even complete beginners! The total climbing area is 660 m² and is divided into 10 different sectors. More info
