Take your kids to the slopes where Petra Vlhová herself started skiing! Just 5 km from the city centre, in the Podbreziny district, you will find an area offering excellent conditions for both young and experienced skiers.
For the little ones, there is a 50-metre slope with ski school instructors, where children can playfully learn their first turns. Older children and parents can enjoy a 550-metre moderately difficult slope with artificial snowmaking and evening skiing on selected days. There is also popular snowtubing, refreshments, facilities, and free parking. If there is enough natural snow, an 11-kilometer groomed cross-country ski trail is accessible from the upper ski lift station, leading from Lesopark Háj-Nicovô to the villages of Žiar and Smrečany, offering views of the Western Tatras.
