Winter sports
Not every town can boast of having a ski center. Liptovský Mikuláš has three! Sports area of Petra Vlhová, Ski Iľanovo and SKI Center Demänová Resort. Even the cycle path along the bank of the Váh river turns into a groomed cross-country track when there is enough snow cover.
