Ondrej Cibák Area of Water Slalom
Mikuláš´s canoe slalom athletes are among the world's best ones. Olympic winners Michal Martikán, Elena Kaliská and other successful representatives of canoeing train for their victories at the Ondrej Cibák Water Slalom Area. Here you can not only see their demanding trainings, but also support them during many top sporting events. You also can raft the same slalom tracks or try even more adrenaline-fueled wakeboarding. Of course, accompanied by sports agency instructors. Adrenaline Centre is part of this sought-after sports and recreational zone. It offers paintball, a shooting range and Adrenaline Golf. The Water Slalom Area is situated on the south-eastern edge of the town, on the left bank of the River Váh, waters of which feed the water tracks. It consists of two tracks – an easier, called Váh and a more demanding, called Orava. The natural character is given by round stones, which are used to line the banks of the artificially excavated canal. The area is complemented by grassy grandstands and benches, many bridges and paths, which attract to walks and relaxation. It is in operation from April to October and belongs to the administration of the CANOE TATRA CLUB.

The Water Slalom Area is located on the southern edge of the town (Sportova Ulica Street). It is easily accessible by car; if walking from the historic centre it is about 1.2 km (about a 16-minute-walk). You can also use public transport - bus lines no. 3 or 4 (direction Iľanovo, Ploštínn). From the „Ulica Vrlíkova - Vrbický Most“ bus stop, it is 0.5 km to the Water Slalom Area (approximately a 6-minute-walk).

RAFTING ADVENTURE
What is white water rafting like on the tracks where the best Slovak canoe slalom athletes train and compete? Try it and learn to overcome water obstacles in an inflatable six-seater raft. You will experience big waves, tides, foamy water cylinders and jumps. All with the help and under the careful supervision of instructors from sports agencies, who know the track perfectly. Rafting is suitable for experienced adrenaline enthusiasts, as well as beginners as a preparation for wild rivers or teambuilding activity. If you do not find enough courage, you can encourage others from the shore or take great photos. Rafting is available outside the competitions and kayaker training courses (usually from 12.00 to 15.00 and after 17.00).

PROPAGANDA FREE STYLE PARK - WAKEBOARD, WAKESKATE
At Propaganda free style park you can test your wakeboard and wakeskate ride on a lift which is the first system of its kind in Slovakia. Driving speed will be adapted to your skills and experience. If you decide to try this non-traditional activity, don't forget to make a reservation in advance.
