Native house of Rázus siblings
The house of Rázus family can be found in Vrbická ulica (street) only 15 minutes by walk from the city centre.
Today there is an exposition devoted to Martin Rázus, his sister Mária Rázusová-Martáková and brothers Michal and Matej, significant printers in Mikuláš. It is very authentic because of the furniture from the beginning of the 20th century and photos from the various periods of the family life. The second part of exposition will show you history of the extinct village Vrbice as well as famous people from Vrbice. If you have enough time you can watch the document about M. Rázus or TV movies based on his autobiographic novels Maroško and Maroško študuje (Maroško is studying). If you want to enjoy the beautiful atmosphere of the Rázus house even longer and there is a nice weather, you can spend some time in the backyard with benches which is called “Maroško´s garden”.
