Jánošík´s court room
Experience the atmosphere of the court room where the most famous Slovak bandit was sentenced to death! Put on a historical costume and play a judge, a defence lawyer or Jánošík himself in a court room which looks like in the past. And how about making a selfie on instruments of torture, under a scaffold or in a judge´s armchair? The court room is part of the main exposition in the Museum of Janko Kráľ.

Jánošík´s torture chamber
Cruel torturing was used during court trials legally in the past. Juraj Jánošík had to go through it too. He was imprisoned, questioned, tortured and sentenced to death in March 1713. Historical instruments of torture displayed in the museum underground introduce the trial procedure of Jánošík. Have a look at a flogging bench, a rack, a torture boot and the record of his voluntary but also torturous questioning.
