The first association of postal pigeon breeders was established in Liptovský Mikuláš in 1923.
The history of this noble hobby is introduced by a unique exposition. Have a look at a special clock that was used for measuring the length of pigeon flights, pigeon rings, exhibition cages, baskets for train transport, race records and a pigeon house from a farming yard.
The exposition is located inside the so called Pongrác mansion, next to the Museum of Janko Kráľ and is available on demand.
