Exposition Tatrín and Requirements of Slovak Nation
In Tranovského ulica (street) nearby the main square you can see the exposition commemorating the meetings of the prominent personalities of Štúr’s generation by the local priest Michal M.Hodža.
Authentic premises of the Old Protestant Vicarage reflect the atmosphere of the first half of the 19th century when Tatrín was established and Requirements of Slovak Nation were elaborated. Exposition has furniture typical for that period; there are facsimiles of historical documents, records, photographs and original portraits of personalities by Janko Alexy. You can also take a look into the Hodža´s workroom with a table with Bible and cross and a massive library full of precious books.
