FOREST PARK HÁJ NICOVÔ

Welcome to the cultural-natural relaxation zone located on the Háj hill on the northern edge of Liptovský Mikuláš. The area of Háj-Nicovô is sought after for beautiful nature, a variety of sports opportunities and valuable military history. Unforgettable views of the mountains around, the water surface of the Liptovská Mara dam and the town guarantee unforgettable and emotional moments. In the past, the first skiers of Liptovský Mikuláš skied down on the slopes of Háj, the first ski jump in the Liptov region was built here, school balls and may balls were held in the area too. Cattle was grazing on the hill and from the 1950s, forests as we can see them today were planted.
